Beauty Must Have: Bliss No Zit Sherlock Starter Kit

Throughout my teens I was lucky enough to escape problem skin (instead I suffered through years of braces). I had the odd breakout here and there, of course, but overall I've always had relatively clear skin. Until my luck ran out the week before London Fashion Week.

Just when I needed to look my best I had spots all over my chin and forehead. There's nothing like a bit of bad timing, right? Thankfully my lovely friend working in beauty PR sent over Bliss' complete clarifying system. The No Zit Sherlock starter kit includes a purifying cleanser, correcting serum and oil control moisturiser. After a couple of days using the three-step treatment I did start to notice a difference and my skin began to clear up.

I've continued to use the cleanser (following up with the serum and moisturiser when I remember) and have noticed that whilst my T-zone still feels quite oily there are no new pimples. It's not a dramatic change, but I definitely feel like it works. Plus it doesn't leave my skin feeling red and sore - which many clarifying cleansers I've tried in the past have done. The No Zit Sherlock starter kit is available for £25 at Bliss.

Have you tried this product before? What's your fail-safe spot treatment?

  1. Hmm maybe I should try this. I have such problems with my skin flaring up - I have every anti shine/spot product known to (wo)man. Except this one...

  2. I am one of those who are beauty conscious. That's why I tried different products and finding the perfect products that suits to my skin. But they are always fail me. When I try this product I can say that I've finally found the one.

  4. As a teen I didn't have any acne. Now as an adult, its like my skin can't wait to break out! I've probably tried a lot more products than I care to admit, but the only thing that seems to help my blemishes is rubbing a bit of rubbing alcohol on my face. I do it mainly over breakout areas. By the next day my blemish is noticeably reduced. Now if I could only find something to help with the discoloration that sometimes gets left behind.....
