Whilst I'm a big fan of Arizona Muse's editorial work I not terribly keen on Vogue's choice of cover image. She looks too much like Pat from Eastenders with the heavy blue eyeshadow, red lips and those massive earrings. But I am happy to finally see a model smiling on a magazine cover and the full editorial is definitely more appealing.
The February issue of British Vogue also includes an interview with Stella McCartney and a shoot featuring theatre's hottest stars.

I don't like the face - she looks like a housewive from the 50s. The dress is gorgeous, though. Can't wait to see the editorial.

I'm not totally keen on it, maybe it grows with the time... I guess it's because of the make up. I like Arizona and it's nice to see a different side of her, though.

At first glance I thought she was dressed like an old housewife...not a fan of this at all! BUT after looking for a while I do like the dress, I just wish they has dialled down the face a bit...in fact a lot...

Thank goodness!! I thought I was alone in thinking this cover was horrendous. Smiling is great but I was scared by it - the overall look is sinister 50s housewife hiding a murderess beneath!! Failing that deffo a tad too Pat Butcher

I really like this cover too, she reminds me of (and looks like!) Beyonce sooo much! I mean watch 'why don't you love me', is it just me that thinks that?

ReplyDeleteIt does seem very dated, but then again her look is very 80s supermodel anyway so I tend to look at all her covers with a fair bit of unintentional nostalgia.

I don't know what's wrong with people on this site! I think this is the greatest cover and I love the bold makeup, bright eyeshadow AND bright lipstick. Why does it always have to be one or the other. As far as the model, this is one of the best looking people I've ever seen.
