Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning are on the road together promoting their new movie, The Runaways. Though I have high hopes for Dakota's style (and am finally starting to 'get' Kristen), I haven't been all that enthusiastic about their red carpet looks, so far.Kristen is rocking the glam-grunge style, with lots of messy hair, short skirts, sequins and rather a lot of Pucci.
Dakota is going for a more romantic feel. So far her dresses have had a prom-vibe to them, with lots of wide skirts, sweetheart necklines and dainty embellishment.
It's not that I think they're doing a bad job on the red carpet, far from it. But I feel like they're not giving it their all - there's a spark missing.
If they played this the right way they could be are really exciting red-carpet-duo. Think Keira and Sienna when they were promoting The Edge of Love.

Overall I like both their styles... sometimes I think Dakota is a little hit and miss but I do really like what Kristen has worn on the red carpet !
I think that Kristen has to stop dressing girlie and start dressing more like who she is - a bit edgier and more boyish. Kinda like Alexa Chung with her oversized blazers and clunky heels.
I fucking loved Kristen's look for this premiere, and what she wore to another Runaways premiere, it was a pink dress. Anyway, love her so much. She's amazing.
I love kristen, but i have to agree, she kind of wears things too... girlie for her.
Kristin does the mini dress & black heels combo WAY too much. I would love to see her in something a lot softer, to contradict her sharp personality.
Hm, I don't love Kirsten's style personally but I think when Dakota does it well, it's amazing!
I think both their dress's are lovely but they could have worn accessories to go with their dress's.

I am still in shock at how fast Dakota is growing up!! I blinked my eyes and wall la.. I saw her on Jimmy Kimmel last night and think she looked fantastic, but agree that they should be utilizing more accessories.
Ugh, i dont think i'll ever get kristen stewart (more like what robert sees in her) because she is just so bloody grumpy... Love Dakato though, she is only young and look gorgeous :)

I want to see Kristen in something with sleeves and wearing some hot heels. Her shoes are always so boring.
Dakota should wear something dark, like a purple or red. The colours she wears wash her out.

It's probably just me, but I think it's kind of refreshing seeing teenage girls not really caring TOO much on what they are wearing. Sure, they do care about what they are wearing otherwise they'd wear sacks, but not to the extent where they plan like crazy women.
I'd rather see Kristen than all the other hollywood's trying to out-do eachother on the style stakes.
dakota is looking sooo good, and shes so PRETTTTY, not too keen on kirsten still though.

I'm distracted by Dakota's roots! Maybe the light dress makes them even more noticeable...they're the darkest thing on her...
i totally agree with you! they should fire their stylists, and get somebody who 'gets them' and is a little bolder, fashion-wise..
My eyes see that Kristen keeps wearing dresses that don't fit her properly, they seem a wee bit small....maybe it's just me. Although I do appreciate their efforts your picks would look smashing.
