I've been a fan of Nicole Richie for a very long time. Throughout the anorexia rumours, the 'zoebot' days, the DUI and the 84 minutes in prison. It was the adorable bob haircut that first made me love her, and now I'm an even bigger fan, because she has turned her life around so gracefully. I feel like there's a lot of affection for Nicole out there (whenever I write about her the comments roll in) because of her reinvention, sense of humour and fabulous style.
So it's no surprise that when she popped into Monique Lhuillier yesterday I got excited. She has always said a wedding to Joel Madden is on the cards, so could 2010be the year? Granted, the fact she went into Monique Lhuillier means little (she doesn't just do wedding dresses) but how exciting would it be if she is getting married?
Nicole is super-stylish so her wedding dress would be absolutely amazing. I could imagine her going for something quite bohemian and ethereal - perhaps even a vintage Halston - but as she favours this style for the red carpet maybe she'd go for something more bride-y?
I can't really picture Nicole in any of the dresses above, but I can't wait to see what she does choose to walk down the aisle in. Whether it's this year, next year or way way in the future.

maybe she will. i love her since the fight with paris ( when i entered to the entertaiment world) but i love her more now so stylish and amazing and jutt like you i don't picture nicole in those dress i think she would wear something very hippie or bohemian for the ocassion

i love nicole, and i would like to see her in the role of a bride. you are right the change she has done to her life is truly amazing, she looks just perfect being a mom and of course her look is great.
I have heard a lot of whisperings that dear Nicole isn't as clean cut as she'd like us believe. It's funny how a little bit of good PR can fool some naive people.
I don't get the affection for this girl. Firstly she is famous because of a stupid reality tv show she did with none other than Paris Hilton and Lionel is her Dad. Secondly and most importantly this girl has no natural style. Rachel Zoe (another questionable person) created a style for Nicole. Before this Nicole use to wear Juicy Couture bottoms. So just because someone has good styling means they are a 'style icon', I don't think so.
Yes she's pretty but she has no class and she's no different than other other desperate reality 'star'.
that marchesa dress is so stunning and dreamy, but can't see her in it. really don't know what she might wear, i reckon she'll go alot more classic than we'd imagine

I think she may get married this yet, but I don't see her in a bride-y gown. (Though the ones you posted are beautiful.) She's a little unconventional, and I think whatever she wears will reflect her personal style.

I could see Nicole in something like the dress in the top-left photo. I don't think she will wear white, something muted like the gold would be perfect on her!

I have been huge fans of both Joel Madden and nicole way before they were dating. I think that Nicole has turned around so much that she will do a white conservative dress. Maybe one with a cap sleeve of bolero shrug. idk, but I would love it to happen this year too.
