I'm not feeling so good today, so it's just a quick post. The Christian Louboutin Barbie officially goes on sale at Net-A-Porter tomorrow. I must admit, I did actually sign up to the wish list for this Barbie - kind of lame, I know. But at £100 I most definitely will not be buying one. I used to buy Barbie dolls with my pocket money as a kid (loved dressing them up) and they were like £5.
I do think it's a really cool idea though, but I'd rather save the £100 to spend on some actual Louboutin shoes.
According to Net-A-Poter, Louboutin has customised 3 dolls, inspired by Nefertiti and Marilyn Monroe. The doll above is the 'jewellery thief' and is available tomorrow, along with an exclusive calendar. You can watch the accompanying video HERE.

There is a Barbie-exhibition at one museum here in Finland. There's lots of different Barbie-dolls, there's celebrities and Barbies dressed in different styles. I bet there was like 100-150 Barbie-dolls.. The exhibition was amazing, I love Barbie!
God this reminds me of the Juicy Couture Barbies I bought in LA about 5 years ago...about $100...that could have been spent elsewhere!
These are really things for the girl who does actually has everything!

I saw this and almost died - I was so excited... I was hard core into the barbies as a little girl, and this is such an awesome collectors item!

God think of all those spoilt children getting that for christmas. They will probably forget about it after a few weeks and lose those little plastic booties...

I'll love to be a child again and have the expensive opportunity to buy this barbie!! I used to dress mines wiht left overs of my mom's fabrics and I used to make the most terrible dresses with glue but i used to imagine it was haute couture home-made dresses :D
