Obviously when it comes to airports nobody styles themselves up as much as Victoria Beckham. But she may have some trouble defending her queen of airport style crown in 2010.
Rihanna was snapped catching a flight today with an amazing hairstyle. Her kirby grips make such a fabulous statement, it reminds me of the hair at the Christian Dior A/W 09 show.
It feels like a bit of an insult to say someone is so A/W 09 - like they're really behind - even though it actually is A/W 09.
I think this hairstyle would be great for Christmas parties. I'm so bad at doing hair though, I'm sure I'd mess it up. Seeing the look first at Dior you think it would need really dramtic makeup, but Rihanna's minimal look works just as well with the style.
Will you be giving the look a go? Anyone already tried it? Any tips?

Its so funny to me. Here in Miami, women do their hair like that to make their curly hair straight. Its an over night procedure. I've never done it but my sister has. Its cool to see it in a different context.

That doesn't look like Dior at all. That looks like Rihanna got extremely lazy and sick of her swoop of hair, so she just pinned it to her head nonchalantly. Not flattering.
I appreciate her attempt, but that many booby pins in real life... at the airport? Nah man. Keep it on the runway.

i've twisted my hair into lil rolls and pinned them down with bobby pins in a criss cross when my hair was growing out from a really short cut... i really liked it... very messy grunge with a 20s twist.

I really liked Christian Dior's show make-up colours and hair-do was also quite interesting. Ofcourse Rihanna gave took more casual look and I pretty much like it;)

The model pulls the look off really well, with the whole get up and make up I should say.
Rihanna on the other hand somewhat missed the point there, the bobby pins were way to minimial to create any effect that would shout a fashion statement. Though I'd give her props for all her other daring hairstyles, and for always coming up with new looks.

I am not sure of whether it's a style choice or a necessity. I mean, did you see that fringe on the xfactor? It was out of control. She's probably not allowed through customs with that.

I agree with the people who know what Rihanna did, its called a wrap, she got her hair done, wrapped it up when she went to leave to keep it in shape and didn't brush it down. All black chicks know this trick.
