Dressing Harper's Style

Last night Harper's Bazaar threw a party for Victoria Beckham, who was their December cover-star. I love the fact that Victoria attended the party with the same hairstyle Harper's gave her for the shoot. She's just missing the leather headband, but it's pretty much the same.

She decided against wearing a bra and pair of high-waisted briefs, in the style of her shoot, to the dinner though. Instead going for a black zip-detail dress from her S/S 2010 collection.

I actually like Victoria's designs. This freaks me out, because I'm so against celebrities becoming 'designers'. But whenever I see her in her own collection I always think she looks great. Oddly though, when other celebrities wear Victoria Beckham designs they never look as good as she does.
Is anyone else a fan of her collections?

She looks better with each magazine cover. The trashy tan, blonde hair and implants are long gone; stunning!

I agree about the celeb "designers", there`s far to many on the market and usually they suck, but I quite like Victoria`s.

Wow, she looks so pretty here! I do love her collections, but I am not sure I could pull the clothes off like she does. I too though am tired of celebrity lines. Most of the time they never seem very chic. But I would say perhaps Victoria and the Olsens are the exceptions for me!

Well, I like Roland Mouret who I think is behind her designs. If the brands are going to cost about the same, I'd rather have his namesake ones than hers.

i don't like her a lot, and neither her collections... they look the same always, at least for me.
but i really like her on harper's bazaar, she looks younger and sexier (i know it may be thanks to photoshop) and less... serious (in the way of dressing, altough i know she's wearing a bra and panties, she really seems less rigid)

I love her designs - you know she's got top talent Mr RM to design them but that is such a wise move and he gets paid what's not to like!

i love her designs; the collections have been evolving and you see a progress in it, drifting away from the "basic" shapes and vb's classic to something else and keeping the style. I loved Blair Waldorf in VB in one of the earlier episodes of the 3rd season.

I think she has got a talent, her designes are really elegant and feminine, nothing revolutionary, yes, rather something to wear everyday. (celebs every day)
I think Blake Lively manages too look pretty pretty and sensual in VB designs.

Victoria Beckham is gorgeous - more so now, maybe because of the darker hair color and an overall less fake appearance.

As for the collection, it is absolutely gorgeous, classy and true to fashion. Also, very Audrey Hepburn.

Victoria is talented, maybe after years to come, when David no longer plays we'll remember her as a designer rather than Posh. Just maybe.

I hate to spam, but I have beautiful giveaway going on in my blog, please check it out!

I like Victoria's collection, but Gwen Stephani's L.A.M.B collection is the only other celebrity designer that I feel is worthy to even be called 'designer'.

I made a post not long ago about her collection . I ABSOLUTELY love it. I love that she wears her own line it shows the effort and passion she puts into her designs. Her fame with spice girls turned her into a supernova over night. The only reason she stayed on the A-list was due to her timeless style. Which was her passion I think to begin with!

i'm not a fan and i don't think we can have an opinion of a designer with 2 collections so i can say it's good cut but not a personal style, only following the trends. Not always wearable especially for not skinny girls

NO NO NO where has your banner with that naked woman gone??
it was so much better than the new one...... :-(

I think her range is great and she's branched out a little from *just* doing those fitted RM style shift dresses into some looser fitting styles and colour as well.

I think she's looking good recently.

Awesome blog. First time commenting ~ But just have to say I agree with you. Usually Celeb turn designers are very much nothing but a disaster. But I love her collection. Very classy.
