The London premiere of The Lovely Bones took place last night, and actress Saoirse Ronan was dressed in a gorgeous Burberry drape dress. I love a bit of draping, I'd even call myself a drapeoholic, if such a thing even exists. The draping at the Burberry S/S 2010 show made it one of my favourite spring 2010 collections.
You may recognise Saoirse from Atonement, she played the young Briony, and she's playing Susie in The Lovely Bones. I started reading the book once but gave up because it was too sad. The film has a great cast (Rachel Weisz, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci...) so I might check it out.
Anyway, back to Burberry's draping... Freida Pinto has also worn one of the dresses, and I doubt these two will be the only celebs to wear pieces from the collection. It has red-carpet written all over it.
I'd love to see Rachel Bilson or Dakota Fanning in one of the drape dresses. Who would you like to see wearing the collection? And has anyone read The Lovely Bones? Do you think it's worth checking out the movie?

ahh the lovely bones (book) was really good. the movie i will def watch, but it looks like they have .. turned it into this fantasy thing, when its actually quite dark?

I love how freida looks on this dress, and i'd love to see alexa chung/kate bosworth or sienna miller wearing some piece of the collection. i havent read the book but the cast of the movie sounds good so i'll probably watch it. much love!
I read the book a couple years ago, and definitly want to see the film, it should be really good.
The Burberry 2010 collection looks so good on the red carpet, because it looks stunning but in a different way to floor length evening gowns.
Emma Watson I'm sure will be seen wearing some more in the coming months. Did you see her on Johnathon Ross in Burberry?

Frieda looks amazing as usual, but I would love to see Taylor Swift in one of these dresses, she has the height to pull it off.
I love Saoirse , I think she and Dakota are the future Academy awarded ladies. They're really good actresses, far better than K-Stew if you ask me. Anyway, I can't wait for the movie to come out, I decided to not read the book until I saw the movie because every time I do it backwards I ended up really disappointed of the movie :)

The Lovely Bones is a wonderful book, it is very sad but also very, very good. I do want to see the film, but suspect it will be disappointing, as is so often the case.

I love the Lovely Bones, but if you gave up as it was too sad... don't go and see the film! Films tend to try really hard to make the audience cry and strip out a lot of the meaning; that's the main failure of My Sister's Keeper etc.
I love draping so much... for so long I've been on the lookout for an affordable draped maxidress... to wear in winter! A tall order I know.

Love that Burberry, gorgeous!
I love Burberry usually, but not these dresses. Freida Pinto looks almost OK, but only because she's so pretty, the dress still looks like something made on the spot. I doubt that these dresses would get a pass on Project Runaway.
I´d like to see anybody else than ME wearing those dresses! so selfish but is is the truth.
The movie is directed by peter jackson and he doesn't throw himself into ANY project, watch the trailer I think it speaks for it self - stunning .
I think Kristen Stewart would look good in these dresses she seems to be doing this pastel soft dresses with sharp, black accessories thing right now - her jet black hair would look good with these colors as well.
the lovely bones is my favourite book in the entire world. and i totally suggest reading it before seeing the movie! I love freida's dress gorgeous!
