Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt at Cannes. Angelina in pink. This was carefully planned. She is normally in black but this week she has rumours to stop, out comes the colour.
There are famous couples and then there is Brad and Angelina. They somehow eclipse everyone else. Is it because of the way they came together? Is it because they have six stunning children? Or is it that they are simply both so good looking?
We all knew they were going to do Cannes, after all the Brad and Jen rumours they needed to put on a show. I can't really explain the impact Brangelina have on the world, so I will just transcribe the texts that were exchanged between me and my good friend Maz. We met at college and instantly bonded over our love for the Ellen DeGeneres show and our shameless celebrity addiction. Maz is an insane Jolie fan, so much show she predicted she would wear pink a week ago.
M: Excited for pitt porn tonight? I want the Ange in pink, which is next to not gonna happen but I can dream.... X X
C: Pink is hot right now though and we know she's gonna go all out out. I'm still in love with the yellow from 2 years ago.
M: I wrote on twitter a week ago that I wanted Ange in pink and I didn't even now it was trendy! One shoulder pink pale dress where are the photos dammit?!
C: What?! Is she in pink for real?! I think she'll def do colour cos she wants to shut down the Jen rumours. X X
M: God the dress is gorge, nude pink and a sexy slit! Go on your comp now!
C: Is it Versace? Are they loving it up?
M: There is so much PDA. I'm on getty images cos they put the photos on asap!
C: I knew they'd bring it! Is brad looking old or nice and fresh? Cannot believe I'm missing this...
M: He looks so damn good, this morning his hair looked dark blonde but maybe that was because of the pale suit. He's wearing a black tux and his hair looks so full and dark - where are you?! Why are you missing the loving gazes and arms locked around each other's waists?
C: Because I stupidly decided 6.30 was a great time to fake tan my legs and wash my hair. I'm gonna blow dry and then get online. XX
Only the Brange cause this sort of reaction. And we are hardcore celebrity followers.
I have to say I think Angelina doesn't look her best, rather tired. Nothing like two years ago when she wore yellow. Remember?

ReplyDeleteAt least her hair looks so much better this year. I'm telling you(as an art house film type) Cannes is gonna be remembered for the Brangelina fashion rather than who wins the Palme d'Or.

ReplyDeleteit's so funny/interesting how big of an impact they both have as a couple. I dunno how or when exactly it happened but now it seems like there are A-Z celebs and then there's Brangelina. It's like a brand.
yes they are fabulous ...but sometimes I wonder why she looks like she's in her 40's when she's only a year older than me ...stunning though.

I personally think she is sooo tired and all and it's normal, with 6 kids you cannot make it and be oh-all-so-young-and-good-looking. There are some sacrifices to make, when it comes parenting.. Even if you're a celebrity and can offer all the mades you want.
ReplyDeleteAlthough her body looks perfect and a great choice, (absolutelly agree, that yellow is much fresher and younger). But the RED LIPS effect is rather ageing her... and that hair pulled aside..

i do agree that they are most influential pair on earth, their style, their life, even their children are making deep impacts.. and angelina looks gorgeous in the pink gown...

Mmm althought her nude pink dress is gorgeous, I think she looks kind of old and tired in those pictures. Poor Angelina, I guess that taking care of six children is not an easy thing to do... She is still beautiful anyway. Love your blog..

Normally a very beautiful woman, but I think she looks very haggard here...heard some rumors about some nasty diet she is on for a movie, she looks too thin and tired, and not very happy...
