Tomorrow is Madonna's 50th birthday. I felt it was only fair that she had a celebratory post. After all she is the face of Coco's Tea Party and one of the most inspirational women ever.
If I need to force myself to exercise I always put Madonna on to pump me up (I find 'Give it 2 me' and 'Runaway lover' are the best to run too) and if I am loosing determination I think of Madonna. She never stops, and has pushed her career constantly, becoming arguably the most powerful woman in music.
As well as that she is always able to come back from what people write about her. And her comebacks always include a look to match. Can you think of anyone else chameleon like enough to be a convincing face of Gap and Versace?

I am a huge fan of madonna's style in the 80s especially the desperate seeking susan phase. She has so many iconic looks and i love the whole gaultier thing too.
