One of the best dressed women in the world is the Editor of Vogue Paris, Carine Roitfeld. There is no way you can disagree with that. She is 100% style, 0% trends. She is the kind of woman that I see the Olsen twins becoming.
Carine and Anna Wintour [US Vogue] are always compared, as they are the two most important fashion editors in the world. Carine has a much more creative look than Anna, which is sure to come from her past as a stylist, and front row images of Carine are normally as good as the shows themselves.
She is also probably the only woman working in fashion who doesn't like handbags. On the subject of handbags she has said: 'You can wear a completely transparent shirt and show all the breasts - I don't care. But I prefer to have my hands in my pocket than to have a nice little bag. So I am not good for all these fashions. They have to sell bags, bags, bags, bags, bags, bags. I hate handbags.'
What is even more amazing about her is that she has been with her partner Christian Restoin for 30 years, and she has two children. See women can have it all...

I remember when I first saw a picture of Carine and immediately wanted to know everything about that woman. Needles to say I was not surprised when I found out she was the editor-in-chief at Vogue. She really is the shining star of the fashion world.

ReplyDeleteI have never before actually realized how stylish she is! But ohmigod, she is definitely 100% style. Besides Vogue there is something else she shares with Anna Wintour - always the same hair. Anna always keeps her hair the way it is and so does Carine.

ReplyDeleteStyle icon of the month? Carine makes my top 5 list of all time, she's awesome! Beats Ms Wintour hands down any day. She has the most awesome shoe collection, I bought some shoes today just because they resemble Carine's Givenchys.
