Versace was one of the first labels to invest in the power of 'celebrity' and Donatella seems to have tapped into a new gap in the celebrity market: Criminal wear.
So many celebrities are having run-ins with the law (this week Tatum O'Neal was arrested in NYC buying drugs) now they need to create sections in their wardrobes purely for 'trouble making'.
Donatella is ready to help them, as her fall collection for Versace has just the right mix of glamour and mystery. It reminds me of the amazing photo shoot Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton did for American Harper's Bazzar last summer. One of the wittiest in ages.

I love Nicole's sense of style, but that comment about everybody going to jail just makes her sound stupid - going to jail for driving on the wrong side of the road while you're off your head and putting other people's lives at risk is just not cool and shouldn't be made out to be cool.
