One of my favourite posts was on Girl Crushes and I thought it was time to re-visit the idea. The Girl Crush is pretty much an admiration of a female celebrity. I have many girl crushes, I would say that Ashley Olsen, Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker are my main crushes. I know that Stevie at DC has a major Girl Crush on Chloe Sevigny, and Molly at Ashcan Rantings has a Girl Crush on Alexa Chung. If your not sure who your girl crush is maybe this will help...
The Teen Vogue Girls
Squeaky clean, young, generally blonde and under 25. These girls are favourites at Teen Vogue due to the fact they have no scandal (that we know of) in their lives. Always wearing a smile, they are an inspiration to us all apparently!
Also in the club: Anne Hathaway, Kate Bosworth and Lauren Conrad.
The 11pm to 4am Ladies
You won’t catch this lot in daylight, and if you do it is a rare sight. They do their business and socialising after daylight but rarely wear eveningwear -just to confuse you.
Also popping out at night: Cory Kennedy, Kelly Osbourne and Peaches Geldolf.
The New Brunettes
For ages it has seemed blonde celebrities have been ruling Hollywood but there is a fresh crop of brunettes with undeniable style. Keeping it natural is so in!
Other hot brunettes: Sophia Bush, Anne Hathaway and Ellen Page.
The Fabulous Over 40s
These women have no problems stripping off and posing for magazines. They pride themselves on their biceps, toy-boys and wrinkle-free foreheads.
Other team members include: Sharon Stone and Kim Cattrall.
The Sidewalk Queens
Found in New York this group of ladies hate the paparazzi. They tend to team a glare or middle finger with their skinny jeans, organic cotton t-shirt and practical handbag.
Other Sidewalk Queens are: Sofia Coppola, Helena Christensen and Chloe Sevigny.
The Glossies
This team are constantly glossed up. Never is a single hair out of place. Legs are always bare (and waxed) and hair and make-up is always kept single. Find them hanging out with rich men and arty types.
Also in the group: Jemima Khan, Katie Holmes and Sarah Larson.
The Girls In The Shadows
They have famous mothers (Bee’s mum is Anna Wintour, Julia’s mum is Carine Roitfeld ) or aunts (Emma’s Aunt is Julia Roberts) but these girls are stepping out from the shadows.
Other girls in the shadows are: Ally Hilfiger, Rumer and Scout Willis.

Yey! The girl crush is back! Being a guy can I have a girl crush if it is only style wise? Of couse A.Olsen has been long time and I have been very into Bee Shaffer lately. I ADORE both gossip girls, Leighton M. a little bit more. I'm also in love with Julianne Moore since I saw her in Savage Grace. Just one more thing: I would put Camilla Belle in the teen vogue darling group. They WORSHIP her over there! I must admit that I first knew of her because she is in almot every issue from day one. My first huge girl crush was Nicole Richie, unfortunately she was most inspiring in the Zoe days. Then it has to be Diane Kruger, I still love her madly. I'm also girl-crushing a tad bit on Scarlett Johansson, though rather not always style-wise. And of course Kirsten, I miss her so badly.
