Forget The Devil Wears Prada and SATC the ultimate fashion movie would have to be about Anna Wintour, editor of Vogue, right?
And who would make a fabulous Anna? I think Christina Ricci, who looked very very Wintour chic at DKNY Delicious Night fragrance launch party the other night. The fringe, the short cut, the auburn colour and the red dress is just so Anna.
I would be so up for a movie about Anna, jut think of all the costumes........ My brain cannot take it!

thinking of it the costumes wouldn't be that great. Wintour looks the same no matter what ( or who ) is she wearing.

I think christina looks a lot like a monkey. i really hate that haircut on her. her face is too round to pull it off.
OK, christina would make a perfect young wintour, but wintour isn't young. So that's a problem to me. At the same time, I wonder how interesting the movie will be.. maybe it's just me, but I don't like wintour at all ( I wonder any of you do?), which isn't a good reason not to like a movie about her! I just think, Carine Roitfeld had a more interesting life..
I simply adore the idea of a film about Anna.
and, yeah, i go nuts too if i think about the costumes...

i agree with juliet, costume-wise, anna is all about her uniform. the costumes would be great if the anna character got together with the carine character frequently though.

Saw this pic and still can't work out whether I think she looks good or not, It's certainly very eye cathing, the colour of the red.
She's be a strange Anna I think, but I think it could work. Maybe she could play her in a naive and creepy way.

Great idea! I like your thinking. As with what Ava said, yes I like Carine Roitfeld more. However Wintour's life is interesting enough to have a movie made about it (read Front Row if you haven't already!).
