Everyone is at it, Kate Moss' collection for Topshop is out next week on May the 1st. Lily Allen has a collection for New Look out on May the 9th, Sarah Jessica Parker is in the middle of designing a clothing line.
All are pretty exciting even though I'm not a fan of celebrities designing. But what I was most excited about was the Olsen twins designing a couture line of basics called The Row.
There is not much around about when or where you can buy this but here are some shots from their lookbook.
I'm surprised at how structured and dark it all is. Especially as they have been working the slouchy grungy look so much. My favourite is the suit and the bowler hat. The styling of this photo is stunning. It reminds me of all the shoots Kate Moss did at the height of her career.
But I like the pieces, it reminds me of the 1990's minimalism look. I like it a lot.
I already predict that Victoria Beckaham will be a fan. You can take the girl out of the Spice Girls but you can't take her out of the-little-black-Gucci-dress.

What? The olsen twins are designing a fashion range!?
Love the blog & Thanks for signing..
Xox.
Nothing new, but I like it. The line is available on-line at brownsfashion and it's a bit pricey, 160 pounds for a t-shirt!
Thanks for your comment on my blog ;)I love yours too.
I like the line, but I agree with Allure; nothing new that we can't find elsewhere for cheaper!
it's all very plain, but combined with the right things the clothes could be well worth the price tag!... or not, seeing as i just read allure's comment. 160 is a lot to pay for something you can pick up at primark!
it looks promising
I was totally pumped for The Row too but then I learned pieces ranged from $195-$800.
this they'll have a big sale? lol
i love how structured, clean, sexy and fitting all thoes pieces look, but i heard they used couture techniques for most of their pieces so i guess that's why they're so pricy.
I didnt know about the Olsen's line ! shame :/ It looks very pretty and I love the black color .
What's the url of the website please ? I'm totally lost !!!!!!
<3 Love your blog <3
It's looking pretty good so far. I'm actually pretty pleased after seeing those pics...it all looks very chic and trendy, however coming from them, I'm not exactly surprised. xx
Im rather sick of the whole celebrity turned designer thing, but somehow it seems different when its MK and Ashley.
Although I think it takes a way from someones mystery when they design a range, take kate for example, shes famous for never giving interviews so all the press for the topshop range has ruined that. It becomes a bit too fake when everyone can literally buy a piece of their favourite celebrity.
S xx
love love love it!
Their line is interesting & clean but I agree : it s a little bit too pricy for a "star clothing line" (they re not Maison Martin Margiela!)
Just from the pictures alone, I like this collection better than Kate Moss' Top Shop or Sarah Jessica Parker's Bitten.
Now, as for whether the Oslen twins designed the clothes or not, I vote for NO. Nonetheless, it more high fashion and high street.
